Walleye fishing continues to be excellent across the entire lake and especially close to Warroad. People are coming in regularly with fantastic reports right out of Warroad. Whether you like to jig, pull spinners, or pull crankbaits it’s all working right now. This won’t carry on all summer so now is the time to get out there and take advantage of great fishing close to town.The bass fishing is still going strong on shorelines at the Northwest Angle. Big bass are still shallow and aggressive and will hit almost anything you throw at them. Don’t be surprised to get the occasional walleye when you’re fishing this way!
